Nanofluids (NFs) are engineered and functional colloidal suspensions which consist of small structures (2–50 nm size) of materials such as metals (Cu, Ag, Au, Pt, etc.), oxides (Al2O3, SiO2, Fe3O4, TiO2, CuO, Cu2O, etc.), carbides (SiC, WC, etc), carbon (fullerenes, graphene, and carbon nanotubes) dispersed in a rheological fluid (such as water, mineral oils, ethylene glycol,polymer solutions, and biofluids as a carrier). Solubilizing C60 in non-aqueous and aqueous carriers is highly imperative in processing it in different forms of ionic or nonionic liquids, NFs, films and other derivatives. In recent years, solubilization and stabilization of C60 molecules in both aqueous and non-aqueous media has attracted immense attention in scientific communities. This book aims to discuss the synthesis and characterization of Fullerene-polymer nanofluids and nanocomposites. The optical, electrical and thermal properties of nanocomposites intend to be discussed in this book. Optical properties can be discussed using the data collected from UV-Visible, Raman, photoluminescence, and FTIR spectrophotometer.
