About the book
The need for developing technology and communication asks for the design of flexible and high capacity radiating systems in today's communication infrastructure. In this context, antenna arrays are the most ideal solution. Hence, antenna arrays and pattern shaping have been one of the priority research subjects of the science community dealing with electromagnetics from past to present. Since the technology is evolving in a continuous manner, with the increase in processor power, analytical methods have evolved into numerical methods and pattern shaping has become an optimization problem. This book aims to bring together the fundamental problems such as pattern shaping, applications of heuristic instruments, optimization of antenna parameters in conventional array systems, and state of the art temporal methods such as time modulation and frequency diversity. In this way, this book is intended to be both a road map for young researchers and a comprehensive reference source for the state of the art methods in array optimization.
