About the book
In mathematics and science, a nonlinear system is a system in which the change of the output is not proportional to the change of input. Most systems are nonlinear in nature, so nonlinear problems have attracted the widespread interest of worldwide engineers and researchers. Generally, the behavior of nonlinear systems is mathematically described as a set of nonlinear simultaneous equations. This nonlinearity makes it extremely difficult to obtain an accurate mathematical model consistent with the actual system in system design. Therefore, it is crucial to develop effective modeling methods to accurately describe the model characteristics of nonlinear systems. At the same time, the design of the control system must consider such a problem, that is, whether the controller can make the controlled system stable and meet the expected performance index in the case of unknown uncertainty. Therefore, the development of an efficient control strategy to achieve the expected performance is worthy of in-depth study. Finally, appropriate analysis of a nonlinear system is the basis and core of establishing its mathematical model and devising an appropriate controller design for the nonlinear system.
