In the coating technology, electrodeposition is a versatile route to prepare the thin film through an electrolyte bath solution containing sources salts. The potentiostatic and galvanostatic mode of operations can be performed by the necessity of the film deposition. The huge range of film thickness from nanometer to several micrometers, can be coated by the electrodeposition process. A large number of metals, including precious metals like gold, platinum, copper, nickel and silver and some of the rare alloy compositions such as Co-Ni, Sn–Ni, Co-Ni-Fe, Au–Co, Co–P, Ni–Fe, Ni–P and etc., succeeded by electrodeposition.
This book plans to focus on elaborating recent advances in the field of electrodeposition with fruitful evidence. The feasibility of electrodeposition routes to fabricate different metals and their derivatives for various uses are to be explained in detail.
