About the book

A game as an activity and, at the same time, a basic tool of human education is important from his birth to death, but also from the first beginnings of human society to the present day. The discipline of game theory deals mainly with types, description, algorithmization, and strategies but also the formalization of games. From the point of view of the games themselves, it can be said that it is active from the idea to the practical game implementation. This book describes some modern approaches, procedures, and algorithms, but also the practical use of game theory and its development. The book will include, among other things, game classifications and formalization, themes of cooperative and non-cooperative games, symmetric and asymmetric games, zero and non-zero-sum games, simultaneous and turn-based (sequential) games, meta-games or games with complete and incomplete information, and infinitely long games. Last but not least, the book also creates a space for the relation of game theory and information technologies, strategy games and war games, economy and business games theory, or for gamification and education or training, including optimization, testing, and presentations of the games and their sociological impacts.
