About the book

Heterocyclic molecules are fundamental building blocks of biological systems. Heterocyclic chemistry offers an example for the lack of distinct demarcations. More than 90% of new drugs contain heterocycles and the interface between chemistry and biology. These compounds are inextricably woven into the life processes. Contribution of medicinal chemistry to the biological, medicinal and pharmaceutical field is gigantic including design, drug expansion and identification of bioactive molecules. Currently, numerous heterocyclic derivatives have received considerable attention because of their diverse biological activity. Furthermore, there are a lot of heterocyclic compounds are known; day by day the number is increasing rapidly due to the enormous synthetic research and their synthetic utility. We welcome all original research papers, revivew articles on most biological active heterocyclic compounds that it’s recently synthesized or extracted from the plants. This book project aims to serve as reference materials for many researchers working in the field of medicinal chemistry, organic chemistry and pharmaceutical chemistry.
