About the book
Adaptive filters are digital filters designed to change their coefficients as per a control objective in order to converge to an optimized state. They play an important role in industrial applications with functions such as adaptive control, noise cancellation, echo cancellation, channel equalization, image restoration, as well as seismic system identification.
This book will be a collection of selected research articles to capture the state-of-the-art technologies in advanced control, artificial intelligence and big data applied to adaptive filtering. It will start with the fundamentals and developments of adaptive system identification, adaptive noise cancellation, adaptive linear prediction, and adaptive inverse system, followed by specific topics on state estimation, parameter identification, and adaptive noise control.
