About the book
Flight performance and safety of a flying vehicle greatly relies on three main subsystems including the control unit, communication unit and instrumentation system. The control and guidance system is responsible for accurate trajectory control of flight vehicles. The communication unit is effectively used for sending or receiving information from the flight vehicles to ground station and vice versa. The instrumentation unit is categorized into two sub units that include the on board sensor units and ground station based units.
The book will covers topics such as flight control system, fault tolerant flight control, stability, fixed and rotary wing UAVs stability and control, aircraft and helicopters stability and control, communication techniques, aeronautical telemetry, radars application, data loggers with communication channels for flight vehicles, carrier frequency offset (CFO) Estimation, aerodynamic load simulators, actuators testing, HWIL testing and data loggers. Chapters in all the three areas covering basic theories, applications and new ideas are welcome for submission.
