About the book

This book is intended to be dedicated to present theoretical aspects of the remotely sensed information collection systems. It is expected to consider fundamental principles of operation of detectors and sensors have developed on the base of variety of materials and structures.
In the meantime, it is undertaken application of advances of achieved challenges in the area embracing wide spheres of technical and technological needs of remote sensing data access. It is expected to consider method of remote sensing use for spatial data collection with further geographical information system development in monitoring and observation purposes.
It is expected to provide advances of remote sensing data gather technology on the satellite, airborne and unmanned platforms, theirs problems and weaknesses.

Book initiated and editor appointed

Date completed: September 11th 2019

Applications to edit the book are assessed and a suitable editor is selected, at which point the process begins.

Chapter proposals submitted and reviewed

Deadline Extended: Open for Submissions

Potential authors submit chapter proposals ready for review by the academic editor and our publishing review team.

Approved chapters written in full and submitted

Deadline for full chapters: December 1st 2019

Once approved by the academic editor and publishing review team, chapters are written and submitted according to pre-agreed parameters

Full chapters peer reviewed

Review results due: February 19th 2020

Full chapter manuscripts are screened for plagiarism and undergo a Main Editor Peer Review. Results are sent to authors within 30 days of submission, with suggestions for rounds of revisions.

Book compiled, published and promoted

Expected publication date: April 19th 2020

All chapters are copy-checked and typesetted before being published. IntechOpen regularly submits its books to major databases for evaluation and coverage, including the Clarivate Analytics Book Citation Index in the Web of ScienceTM Core Collection. Other discipline-specific databases are also targeted, such as Web of Science's BIOSIS Previews.

Khazar University

Rustam B. Rustamov is presently holding a position at eiLink Research & Development of Khazar University, Baku, Azerbaijan. He has completed his Ph.D. at Russian Physical-Technical Institute (ST. Petersburg, Russian Federation). His experience covers working at the European Space Agency/European Space Research and Technologies Centre, the Netherlands within the framework of the United Nations program on space applications. Rustam B. Rustamov is the contact person of the International Astronautics Federation. He is an author of twelve books of worldwide recognized publication houses and about one hundred twenty scientific papers.
