Assoc. Prof. Nevin Taşaltın received her PhD degree from Gebze Technical University Physics Program in 2010. She worked on sensor technologies and advanced materials at TUBITAK Marmara Research Center, Gebze Technical University, and Koç University between 2003-2012. Then, she worked on energy technologies and nanotechnology at TUBITAK Marmara Research Center as a senior researcher between 2015-2018. She coordinated National Nanotechnology Cluster and appointed as TUBITAK Delegate at H2020 Nanotechnology Field. She has been working on currently working on nanomaterials, chemical sensors, nanobiosensors, and supercapacitors at Maltepe University Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences as a Faculty Member since May 2018. She is currently director of Department of Environment and Energy Technologies Management. She worked on national and international funded projects. She has published several research articles on functional materials, chemical sensors, nanobiosensors, and supercapacitors.
