Maurine Malak
Maurine Malak was born in Cairo, Egypt, in 1983. She received the B.Sc. degree in electronics and communication engineering (ECE) from Ain Shams University (ASU), Cairo, in 2004. and the M.Sc. degree in Integrated Optics from ECE ASU in 2008. Her M.Sc. thesis focused on the design of photonic devices for CWDM systems. From 2004 to 2008, she joined the group of Optical Communication and Laser laboratory of ECE, ASU as a research assistant. She is currently working toward the PhD degree in optical MEMS at ESIEE, Universite Paris-Est, Noisy-le-Grand, France. Her current research interests include research and design of optical MEMS components for vibration sensing and optical spectroscopy.
