Valentina Janev
Valentina Janev, MSc, is a Research Associate at the Mihailo Pupin Institute, Belgrade, Serbia. She graduated in Electrical Engineering and received her Master degree in Computer Science from the University of Ljubljana. Since 1996 she has participated in design, development and implementation of many business information systems first as a Software Engineer and later as a Consultant. She is actively involved in scientific projects financed by the Serbian Ministry of Science, as well in EU FP6 and FP7 projects. Her resent interests include Semantic Web, applications of semantic technologies and W3C standards in the knowledge management field, and knowledge management architectures for R&D organizations. She is an author of more than 40 published papers, some of them in international journals and books.
