Ahmed Abdulamir

I am a MD in Medicine and PhD in Medical Microbiology. I have an experience in a wide range of fields (listed in Areas of Interest). I have been engaged in multidisciplinary studies covering Tumor pathogenesis, immunology, Molecular techniques applications, cell line cultures of human cancers, natural products studies on human cell lines, and bacteriophages applications in the rapid diagnostics, biocontrol and therapy of certain bacterial pathogens particularly E. coli, MRSA, and TB. I have published up to 50 papers in high reputable journals in the last 6 years and earned 8 international awards in Medicine and Biology. In addition, I was an essential inventor in three international patents applied in UK as follows: A) Invention entitled ‘ METHODS FOR BACTERIOPHAGE DESIGN’ , for which an application for patent has been filed on the 3rd of December 2008 under UK Patent Application No. 0822068.3. B) Invention entitled ‘ RAPID DETECTION OF BACTERIA’ , for which an application for patent has been filed on the 11th of February 2010 under UK Patent Application No. 1002295.2. C) Invention entitled COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS FOR THE TREATMENT OF CANCER, for which a PCT application number PCT/GB2011/050382 has been filed on 25 February 2011.
