Joseph Doccola
As Director of Research for an innovative tree injection technology company, I research methods and formulations for use against destructive and nuisance pests of ornamental trees. Methods are independently evaluated by Universities, the USDA FS and private sectors. I apply my 30 years experience of professional practice in the horticultural and arboricultural fields to this endeavor and am ISA certified and educated at Cornell University and the New York Botanical Garden. I have co-authored publications of research on invasive tree pests, such as the Hemlock Woolly Adelgid and Emerald Ash Borer. My goal at Arborjet is to develop effective technologies for tree protection with the guiding principle of minimizing unintended environmental exposures.
