Lesley A. Allen, Ph.D. is a clinical psychologist and Visiting Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology at Princeton University. She earned her undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College and her doctoral degrees from Rutgers University. Dr. Allen is actively involved in clinical work, teaching, and supervising. Much of her research has been funded by the National Institute of Mental Health. She has authored or coauthored of numerous journal articles and book chapters on somatoform disorders and recently co-authored the book, Treatment of Somatization: A Cognitive-Behavioral Approach.
