Mr Obosi was born in 1970 in Nyatike District, formerly of the greater South Nyanza, Kenya. He started his early education at wang\'elong\'o Primary School in Nyatike before moving to Kanga High School after he passed and joined University of Nairobi in 1990 where he graduated with Bachelor of Arts degree, Second Honours, Upper Division in Political Science. He also earned His Master of Arts degree in Political Science and Public Administration in 2003 in the same instituion. Mr Obosi is currently a Doctor of Philosophy fellow in the department of Political Science and Public Administrration, in the the University of Nairobi, Kenya. His area of study is in Public service Delivery as evidenced in Water Service provision and Management in Kenya. His areas of interest are: Public Administration, Comparative Politics including Public Policy Analysis and Governance, and Political Theory. Mr Obosi is also a qualified Human Resources Mangement Consultant and also a Quality Systems Auditor. He is currently the Senior Assistant Registrar in the Faculty of Arts University of Nairobi with over 15 years of comprehensive university human resources and has a wide academic programmes managerial experience including recruitment and retention, Conflict Resolution, Change Management, Labour Relations, Performance Management, development and implementation of institutional strategic plans, OrgaDevelopment, Operations Management, Project Management, Monitoring & Evaluation, and Benefits/Compensation Design & Administration.
