Kai Lau
Educated at Penn Medical School and trained as a Medical Resident at Harvard and as a Renal fellow at Penn, Dr. Lau has been an acknowledged physician-scientist with published expertise and documented excellence or experience in:- • Diabetic Nephropathy • Nephro-lithiasis & -calcinosis • Vit D & Parathyroid Disorders • Pre-eclampsia • Lupus & ANCA Nephritidies • RTA & Electrolyte Disorders • Malignant Hypertension Collaborating with scientists in & outside OU, his research addresses issues on:- • Diabetic Complications • Metabolic Syndrome • Chronic kidney diseases • Polycystic kidney diseases He enjoys teaching students, residents, and fellows, who uniformly appreciate his didactic seminars, stimulating rounds, and his challenges to critical thinking, scientific approaches, and meeting the highest possible standards in clinical medicine.
