Alice Elizabeth González

Alice Elizabeth González is a full-time Professor at the Environmental Engineering Department, Faculty of Engineering, Universidad de la República (UdelaR, Uruguay). She currently teaches undergraduate and postgraduate programs and oversees graduate and postgraduate students. She also leads research, development, and applied research projects. She is a Researcher of the National Researchers System of the National Research and Innovation Agency. Her main research topic is noise pollution, including environmental and urban acoustics, noise and vibration control, environment and health. She has thirty years of teaching and professional experience, and has authored/co-authored more than two hundred technical publications, including ten books and a dozen book chapters. Prior to becoming full-time at UdelaR, she worked for 19 years as a freelance Environmental and Sanitary Engineer.
