Umberto Maestroni
Umberto Maestroni graduated from the University of Bologna, Italy, in 1996, and completed his residency in general surgery at the University of Ferrara, Italy, in 2001, and in urology at the University of Parma, Italy, in 2007. He has been a rotating resident at the Department of Surgery, Division of Endoscopic Surgery, Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Los Angeles, California, since 1999. He is the director of the Department of Urology, University Hospital of Parma, Italy. He is an editorial board member of three international journals and has published mainly in the fields of prostate cancer and other urologic diseases and treatments.
