Athanasios Papatsoris
Dr. Athanasios (Thanos) Papatsoris is a Full Professor of Urology at Athens University, Greece. He is also a Visiting Full Professor of Urology at Lebanese University; an adjunct professor at Guangzhou Medical University, China, and the Icahn School of Medicine, USA; a visiting professor at University Basrah Medical College, Iraq, and Rwanda University; an invited professor at the University of Medicine Tirana, Albania; and Scientific Collaborator at the European University of Cyprus. He completed a two-year fellowship in endourology and laparoscopy in London and France. He is a board member of EMA, IAU, HUA, IMBE, and HGUCG. He is an associate board member of ESOU, EULIS, ESUT, ESAU, SEGUR, and U-Merge. He has more than 250 publications to his credit. Dr. Papatsoris is the recipient of the “Arthur Smith” award and chairman of the biannual ESD Congress.
