PhD in Silviculture and Forest Conservation (2019, University of Eldoret in Kenya); MSc in Forest biology and silviculture (2000) and Bsc Forestry (Honours, 2nd Upper Div.) (1988) both from Moi University, Kenya. Lecturer and Acting Dean of School of Natural Resource and Environmental Management, University of Kabianga (Kenya). Teaching and supervising students in forest ecology, forest biometrics, forest mensuration, Quantitative methods in agroforestry, Dryland agroforestry, Multipurpose trees in agroforestry, Range management, silviculture, forest inventory. I am passionate for research in forestry and agroforestry to enhance sustainable natural resource utilization and management as well as conservation of nature and her biodiversity. I did ecological research in different ecosystems in Kenya and have so far published in many journals eg. Forest Ecology and Management, African Journal of Ecology. I presented papers many scientic confetences. I consulted for African Wildlife Fundation, National Environment Management Authority in Kenya, International Gorilla Conservation Programme, Lake Victoria Environmental Management Programme in Kenya. I m a member of a number of research groups, and of Forestry Society of Kenya.
