MSc in Forest biology and silviculture (since 2000) and Bsc Forestry (Honours, 2nd Upper Div.) (1988) both from Moi University, Kenya. Currently undertaking PhD studies in Forestry (Moi University/Dresden)and Lecturer at Kabianga University College, School of Natural Resource Management, teaching among other courses forest ecology, forest biometrics, forest mensuration, Quantitative methods in agroforestry, Dryland agroforestry, Multipurpose trees in agroforestry, Range management. I am passionate for research in forestry and agroforestry to enhance sustainable natural resource utilization and management as well as conservation of nature and her biodiversity. I did ecological research in different ecosystems in Kenya and have so far published in Forest Ecology and Management, African Journal of Ecology. I consulted for African Wildlife Fundation, National Environment Management Authority in Kenya, International Gorilla Conservation Programme, Lake Victoria Environmental Management Programme in Kenya
