Samy I. McFarlane
Dr. Samy I. Mcfarlane, MD, MPH, MBA is a distinguished Teaching professor of Medicine and Endocrinology at State University of New York, Downstate Medical center, USA. He has extensive experience in clinical and epidemiological research and had led the largest center in North America in the landmark diabetes prevention, the DREAM trial. He has nearly 300 publications and a total of 58,878 views as well as 7,232 citations in diabetes, hypertension, dyslipidemia, cardiovascular disease and related area. He served as a full x2 at NIDDK and as a chair, twice, of NIH NIDDK U01 review committee. He is the Editor-In-Chief for an International Journal. He received multiple recognitions including Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition and served as District President for the American College of Physicians.
