Professor Motomura is an Associate Professor at the Department of Cardiac Surgery, University of Tokyo, who graduated from Kyoto Prefectural University of Medicine in 1985. Following the training in National Cardiovascular and Research Center in Osaka, Georgetown University in Washington DC, and St. George Hospital in Sydney, he was appointed staff surgeon at the University of Tokyo.
