Pinakin Davey

Dr. Pinakin Gunvant Davey is a tenured full professor and director of clinical research at Western University of Health Sciences, California, USA. He earned his OD from Southern College of Optometry, Tennessee, USA, and a Ph.D. from Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge, England. His three-year post-doctoral research fellowship at the University of Louisville, Kentucky, USA was focused on improving imaging techniques in glaucoma. His current research is focused on retinal physiology and glaucoma, particularly improving visual function in disease states. He has authored more than 75 international publications and has given more than 500 conferences and invited presentations both nationally and internationally. He is a fellow of the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology (ARVO) and the American Academy of Optometry (AAO) and a member of the Optometric Glaucoma Society.
