Dan Ionut Gheonea
Gheonea Dan Ionuț, MD, PhD, MSc, Professor at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Craiova, active member of the Research Center of Gastroenterology and Hepatology Craiova (www.umfcv.ro/ccgh), involved in the development of most of the laboratories and new techniques implemented there. He initiated and participated in more than 30 grant proposals writing. As team leader of Elastography and Virtual Intelligence Laboratory, he developed these techniques at a national level, being invited many times as expert to lecture on national specific meetings. He published and communicated more than 100 papers in Romania and abroad, several of them in high impact publications.
