Mohamed Anwar Ismail is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at King Faisal University, Al Ahsa, Saudi Arabia. He is also an Assistant Professor (on leave) at Zagazig University, Zagazig, Egypt. In addition to his long teaching experience, he is heavily involved in multiple research projects in the fields of pipeline engineering, biomass combustion and pyrolysis, fire dynamics, renewable energy, and emission reduction from diesel engines. He holds a Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering from King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), Thuwal, Saudi Arabia. Ismail has authored or co-authored more than twenty-three technical papers. He works as a reviewer of various reputed journals, such as Journal of Hydrogen Energy, International Journal of Ambient Energy, Fluid Mechanics Thermal Sciences, Advances in Mechanical Engineering, and Energy Strategy reviews. He is a member of the Combustion Institute (CI).
