Susu M. Zughaier
Dr. Susu Zughaier is an Associate Professor of Microbiology at Qatar University College of Medicine and leads the Infectious Diseases Research Network. She trained as a clinical microbiologist at University College London and obtained her MSc and Ph.D. in Microbiology and Immunology from Cardiff University, UK. She completed postdoctoral training at Harvard Medical School, USA. She is an Assistant Professor of Microbiology and Immunology at Emory University School of Medicine, USA. Her research interests include host-pathogen interactions, vaccine development, and AI in Medicine. Dr. Zughaier has published more than ninety papers and is listed among the top 2% of highly cited scientists.
