He obtained the Advanced Scientific Level Certificate. From 15/08/2003 to 15/12/2003 he carried out a research period at the Component Technology Department (School of Engineering, Jonkoping University - Sweden). He obtained the Degree in INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERING at University of Padova (ITALY), with a thesis titled \Influence of solidification history and cooling rate of quenching on mechanical properties of cast aluminium alloys\, rewarded with: - Rotary Club Vicenza-Berici prize; - AMAFOND prize; - Luigi Giordano prize. He obtained the engineering licence on 2004. From 01/10/2004 to 31/10/2004 he was a temporary research associate at the Department of Management and Engineering of the University of Padova working on \Correlation between microstructure and properties of cast aluminium alloys\. From 23/03/2006 to 31/08/2006 he carried out a research period at the Department of Materials Science and Engineering (NTNU, Trondheim - Norway). He obtained the PhD degree, with Doctor Europaeus degree (04/03/2008, University of Padova), defending a thesis titled \Correlation between processing and quality of aluminium alloy castings\. From 01/01/2008 to 30/09/2008 he was a temporary research associate at the Department of Management and Engineering of the University of Padova working on Defects, microstructural and mechanical characterisation of aluminium die castings, Research Area n. 10 - Industrial Engineering - SSD ING/IND-21. On 2008 and 2011, he won the A. Dacco\' Prize for the best Italian papers on foundry. From 01/10/2008 he is Assistant Professor, for the S.S.D. ING-IND/21 Metallurgy, and lecturer for the Courses of Metallurgy and Innovation in Metallurgical Production in the frame of Industrial and Mechanical Engineering, at the School of Engineering of Padova University.
