Oluwatoyin Olatundun ILESANMI holds a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology (2005) and an M.Ed. Guidance and Counselling (1999)from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria as well as a B. A. Hons English Studies (1987) from the University of Ife, Ile-Ife, Nigeria. She also had professional training in Gender Perspectives in United Nations Peacekeeping Operations (2009), Civil-Military Coordination (CIMIC) (2009), and Global Terrorism (2009) under Peace Operations Training Institute, Dispute and Conflict Analysis (2007), and Gender and Health (2013) at AMREF in Nairobi, Kenya. She is currently working at the Centre for Gender, Humanitarian and Development Studies, Redeemer’s University, Ede, Osun State, Nigeria Ado-Ekiti as a Reader. She has an enthusiastic and flexible approach to teaching and a commitment to research and publication. She has contributed almost fifty publications in learned journals.
