Ahmed Albahnasawi

Department of Environmental Engineering, Gebze Technical University, Kocaeli, Turkey

Ahmed Albahnasawi is a Water/Environmental Engineer with research experience in water and wastewater treatments. He conducted extensive research in the desalination area which aimed to optimize the use of Nanofiltration membrane for nitrate removal from Gaza Strip groundwater as a case study. Basing on results from MSc research, Eng. Albahnasawi published two pre-review- papers. Recently, Eng. Albahnasawi is working on a research project that focuses on using innovative anoxic -aerobic ceramic membrane bioreactor to investigate textile wastewater treatability. As a result of his PhD research works, he gained considerable experience working in the laboratory and he is familiar with certain micropollutant analytical instruments, such as (GC-MS/MS, LC-MS/MS) and (waste)water quality characterization analysis. Most importantly, understanding of the integration of bioprocess with physical-chemical wastewater treatment methods.
