Nezih Mrad

Dr. Mrad is a defence scientist with the Canadian Department of National Defence. He leads and oversees several R&D activities in support of the Canadian Forces in all domains of sustainment and logistics related to Air and Land. Since he received his PhD from the Pennsylvania State University in 1995, he has developed extensive expertise in the fields of sensors technology, wireless sensor networks, energy harvesting, RFID, structural health monitoring, prognostics health management, sense and respond logistics and autonomic logistics. He has served as chair of several national and international committees, developed several workshops and conferences, served as panel speaker expert and produced over 150 publications in his field of expertise.
