Thomas Franchi
Thomas Franchi is a final year medical student at The University of Sheffield Medical School, who holds an MSc in Human Anatomy with Education. He is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) and a Member of the Academy of Medical Educators (MAcadMEd). He has published over 25 academic articles and his h-index is 7. He serves as Assistant Commissioning Editor for the International Journal of Surgery (and all its sister journals), Assistant Managing Editor for the International Journal of Digital Health, Senior Editor for the British Student Doctor Journal, and Junior Associate Editor for the Journal of Contemporary Studies in Epidemiology and Public Health. He has completed over 450 invited peer reviews for over 25 reputable journals, and his main clinical interests lie in human anatomy, anatomical education, emergency surgery, and cranio-maxillo-facial surgery.
