Dr. Ahmad Albanna joined the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering at Mississippi State University (MSU) as an Assistant Research Professor in August, 2010. Dr. Albanna received his Ph.D. and M.Sc. degrees in Electrical & Computer Engineering from Southern Illinois University Carbondale (SIUC) in 2010 and 2006 respectively, and his B.Sc. degree from the University of Jordan in 2004, Jordan. Currently, Dr. Albanna is a Co-PI of the eShip Project where several research projects concerning Medium Voltage DC (MVDC) architecture, power conversion, energy storage management, power distribution, stability, and protection for Electric Ship (eShip) Power Systems are investigated.
