Dr. Poorva Sharma is an Associate Professor at Key Laboratory of Multifunctional Materials and Magnetoelectric Devices, Department of Electronic Engineering, Luzhou Vocational and Technical College, Luzhou – China. Dr. Sharma received her Ph. D. in Physics from School of Physics, Devi Ahilya University, Indore, India in 2015. Her Ph. D. thesis was devoted to the experimental work on perovskite based multiferroic materials including BiFeO3, and YMnO3. From 2016-2018, she was a postdoctoral fellow in the laboratory of Professor Shixun Cao and Professor Wei Ren in International Centre of Quantum and Molecular Structures (ICQMS), Department of Physics, Shanghai University. After completion of postdoctoral fellowship, she served as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Applied Physics, Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Nanjing - China (May 2019-April 2020). She has set various benchmarks in research such as; got Young Scientist training fellowship from Madhya Pradesh Council of Science and Technology (MPCST), Bhopal - India, honored by IUCr Young Scientist Award by the International Union of Crystallography (IUCr), and best paper award by Luzhou Chemistry and Chemical Society, China. Her primary research is devoted to rare-earth orthoferrites, multiferroic, manganite and metal oxides materials to provide a solution for advanced sustainable and economical spintronics, memory devices, and magnetic data storage devices. She has been author/co-author of more than 30 research papers at SCI or EI indexed journals. She has participated in many national and international conferences and contributed her scientific work. Her research seeks to provide a solution for advanced sustainable and economical spintronics, memory devices, and magnetic data storage devices.
