Racheal S. Akinbo

Racheal Shade Akinbo is an active teacher, writer, and researcher. She had her Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko, Nigeria in 2006. She further her Master\'s Degree at the Federal University of Technology, Akure, Nigeria where she obtained an M.Tech in Computer Science in 2018. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Computer Science at the same University. Her career life span from the Citylink Courier Nigeria Limited, Lagos, Nigeria where she rose to the rank and file of been the Head, Logistics Operation between 2006 - 2014. She joined Allover Central Polytechnic, Ota, Nigeria (Akure Campus) as a Lecturer in Computer Science Department in 2015 till date. A member of the editorial board of the International Journal of Leading Research Publication (IJLRP). She has published seven (7) academic papers and made presentations at several conferences. She has also received two prestigious scholarship and awards through rigorous research, dedication, and hard work, namely Grace Hopper Celebration (2018 GHC Student Scholarship Award) and Udacity Google Africa Challenge Scholarship (2018 Recipient). Her current research interests are focus on Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Information Technology. Akinbo is a professional member of the Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered). She founded an educational group called LiSTEM Africa (Ladies in Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics) with the vision to educate, inspire and empower young girls to choose a science, technology, engineering, and mathematics academic path right from their elementary schools and develop their potential to be a better leader and independent women in STEM through training, mentorship, and competitions.
