Md Enamul Hoque
Dr Md Enamul Hoque is a Professor in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at the Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST), Dhaka, Bangladesh. Prior to joining MIST, he served a number of key positions in some other global universities that include Head, Department of Biomedical Engineering at King Faisal University (KFU), Saudi Arabia; Founding Head of Bioengineering Division, University of Nottingham Malaysia Campus (UNMC). He completed his PhD from the National University of Singapore (NUS), Singapore in 2007. He also obtained his PGCHE (Post Graduate Certificate in Higher Education) from the University of Nottingham, UK in 2015. He is a Chartered Engineer (CEng) certified by the Engineering Council, UK, and a Fellow of Higher Education Academy (FHEA), UK. By now, he has published 6 books, 23 book chapters, 163 technical papers in referred journals and international conference proceedings. His publications have attracted over 1100 citations with 16 h-index. His major areas of research interest include Stem Cells, Tissue Engineering, Orthopedic Implants, Rehabilitation Engineering, Biomaterials, Biocomposites, Rapid Prototyping Technology, Nanotechnology, Nanomaterials and so on.
