C Bhasker

Dr C Bhasker, Post-graduated in Science with Numerical Analysis and Fluid Mechanics as electives, has later obtained Ph.D in Multiphase flows from Osmania University. Afterwords he has obtained certificate course in Advances in CFD from National Aerospace Laboratory, Bangalore. Subsequently he was Post-Doctoral Research scholar at Engineering Research Center, Mississippi State University/USA and worked on reacting Flows. He was instrumental in executing several R&D developmental projects for industrial flow simulation from the last two-half decades. He has extensive experience in modeling and simulation using CFD techniques for critical components like grinding mills, burners, cleaning devices, turbo machinery components such as fans, pumps and blowers used in power and process equipment. He was Project leader in validation studies dealing with non-return and bypass valves used in power plant extraction lines. His area of expertise for simulation activities ranges from rotating and stationary objects to complex physical problems involving fluid-solid interaction and flow induced noise. Dr C.Bhasker has been reviewer for scientific and industrial journals and also provided training on CFD to many engineering students/research scholars. He has extended support to many research groups for design of several components in improving its performance. He has been invited by several engineering colleges in Andhra Pradesh/other reputed organizations for interactions on industrial flow simulation. He has at his credit more than fifty technical publications in leading conferences/journals and included under who is who in science/engineering, published by Marquis/USA in 2003-04. Dr C.Bhasker is presently working as Manager at BHEL R&D Division, Hyderabad and involved in projects associated with CFD with DOE techniques.
