Dr. Michele Antonello was born in Padua the first of november 1971. 1990: High school master degree. 1996: Graduated in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Padua (105/110), discussing a thesis on the “Lower limb oedema after revascularization”. 1997: Medical Board examination. 1998: University course (12 months) on Arterial disease at the University of Padua. 2003: Residency in Vascular Surgery at the University of Padua (70/70 magna cum laude), discussing the thesis on the “Role of the arteriovenous-fistula with patch in femoro-distal bypass”. 2006: Assistant professor on Vascular Surgery at the Medical School of the University of Padua. 2007: PhD Degree in an international PhD program on Arterial hypertension and Vascular Biology (Participating University: Padua, Berlin, Danzica,) discussing a thesis on the “Arterial benefit of green tea extract: Anti-hypertension and Prevention of Cardiovascular Damage and Endothelial Dysfunction in Angiotensin II-Dependent Hypertension” 2006-2009: Professor in the PhD program on Nephrologic Sciences (school of doctorate on clinical and experimental medical sciences). 2008: Professor in the Vascular Surgery Fellowship of the University of Padua. He is member of the Italian Society for Vascular and Endovascular surgery, of the Italian Society of Young Surgeon, European Society for Vascular Surgery, European Society for Cardio-Vascular Surgery. He is Reviewer of Stroke, of the European Journal of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery and of the Italian Jornal of Vscula and Endovascular Surgery. Member of the Editorial Secretariat of the Italian Journal of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery. He participated has Investigator in different clinical trials. He participated with communications and as invited speaker in national and international meetings in particular on topics concerning vascular and endovascular surgery and vascular pathology.
