UK Assistant Professor. Nutrition Faculty. Pharmacy School. Petra University. Amman. Jordan I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Nutrition at University of Petra, Amman, Jordan. I received M.S. from Jordan University of Science & Technology and earned my Ph.D. at Queen’s University Belfast (QUB) in the United Kingdom. I have published peer-reviewed research articles in national and international journals, such as the Jordan Journal of Biological Sciences, The American Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene, British Journal of Nutrition, and the International Journal of Multidisciplinary Sciences and Advanced Technology. I am a pragmatic person, enjoy scientific objects and researches in clinical nutrition, public health and nutrition statistics, community nutrition, food analysis, and food processing. I was International Ambassador for QUB, QUB testimonial for the Middle East. I am a member of the ASO Association, QUB nutrition society, and UNICEF. My extracurricular skills include Venepuncture skills at HSC Clinical Education Centre (UK), Self-awareness & leadership certificates (UK), Sensory evaluation of food, HACCP, ISO (2200) certificates. I have many other trained soft skills as management skills and teamwork, body language training, psychometric analysis, and social traits, communication skills & time management. I pay great attention to personal development & teamwork. Very interesting in the clinical nutrition researches and nutrition community besides the food analysis and hygiene field. Finally, my current career is as an assistant professor in the clinical nutrition faculty in the pharmacy department, Petra University. Amman Jordan. I am teaching different courses in both fields; clinical nutrition and food science such as nutrition counseling, diet assessment, food hygiene, and other courses.
