Matthias Haupt

Matthias Haupt was born 1978 in Bünde, Germany. He started to study electrical engineering in 1998 at Technical University Carolo-Wilhelmina Braunschweig. He finished his diploma work about optical simulation of multifocal terahertz optics in 2005. From 2006 to 2010 he worked as a phd student at department of communication at Harz university of applied sciences where he researched key elements for optical communication via POF. In 2010 he passed his dissertation in electrical engineering. He won the IHK research prize for the development of a demultiplexer for WDM over POF in 2006 and is author of over 30 technical publications.
