Kavitha Sankarapandian
Dr. Kavitha Sankarapandian obtained her Ph.D. in Environmental Biotechnology discipline from Anna University, Chennai, India. She received her bachelor’s degree in Microbiology and a master’s in Biotechnology from Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, Tirunelveli, India. Her research interests include the generation of energy from biomass, micro and macroalgae biorefinery, lignin valorization, and microbial fuel cells. She has authored seventy-six articles in SCI and SCIE journals, one book, and fourteen book chapters. She is also a reviewer and editorial board member for various international journals. She has received three best poster awards at international conferences. Dr. Kavitha was ranked among the World’s Top 2% of Scientists by Stanford University in 2020.
