Kavitha Sankarapandian
Dr. Kavitha Sankarapandian is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biotechnology, Karpagam Academy of Higher Education, Coimbatore, Tamilnadu, India. She completed her Ph.D. in the Department of Civil Engineering at Anna University Chennai, India. She received her Bachelor\'s degree in Microbiology and Master\'s in Biotechnology at Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, Tirunelveli, India. Her major research includes energy generation from biomass, micro and macroalgae biorefinery, lignin valorization, and microbial fuel cells. She has authored about 90 articles in SCI and SCIE journals with a cumulative impact factor of 750. Her publications achieved 4000 citations. She has one authored book, two edited books, and 14 book chapters. In addition to this, she is a potential reviewer and editorial board member in various international journals. She has received three best poster awards at International conferences. She was ranked among the Top 2% of Scientists worldwide by Stanford University, USA, in 2020.
