Jorge Masso-Silva
Dr. Jorge A. Masso-Silva is interested in immunology and how our immune system protects us from pathogens. He obtained his master’s degree in Biotechnology from Centro de Investigaciones Biologicas del Noroeste, Mexico in 2007. He obtained his Ph.D. in Biomedical Science from Rutgers University, USA, in 2012 with research on innate and adaptive immune responses. Dr. Masso-Silva worked for the Federal Government in Mexico and is a member of the National System of Investigators in Mexico. Currently, he is a postdoc in the Division of Pulmonary Critical Care and Sleep, Section Chief of Pulmonary Critical Care Medicine, University of California at San Diego, USA.
