With twenty years of experience as a solicitor in technology, regulatory/government affairs, and risk management, Patricia Shaw advises on artificial intelligence (AI) and data ethics, policy, and governance, including ethics advisory boards. She is a public speaker and author, with contributions in The AI Book,1 The Law of AI,2 and Responsible AI: A Global Policy Framework Update 2021.3 She also chairs the UK Society for Computers and Law, sits on the board of and is vice-chair of the AI Committee for iTechLaw, and is an advocate for responsible AI through her work with ForHumanity, Women Leading in AI, and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).
