DR. Delower Hossain, working as Assistant Professor, Dept. of Medicine and Public Health under Faculty of Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine at Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University (SAU), Dhaka, Bangladesh since December 2018. He has completed his MS (Medicine) degree under Dept. of Medicine and Surgery in 2019 from Chattogram Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (CVASU). He has completed his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree in 2016 from CVASU. He has been secured an excellent academic record with a one-year duration internship and externship program to complete DVM. He won the Best Clinical Award for excellent clinical performance at S.A. Quaderi Teaching Hospital, (CVASU) in 2015. He has an immense interest to work for animal health and welfare. He had been working as a Research Assistant (RA) in a Bangladesh-Sweden-Netherlands collaborative project “Development of Udder Health Control Programme in Dairy cows in Bangladesh” funded by the Swedish Research Council, Sweden from January 2017- November 2018. Now he is engaged with Udder Health Bangladesh as a member and has been training dairy farmers to improve dairy farming and udder health. He won the prestigious Gustav Rosenberger Memorial Award (GRMF) 2019 for the first time in Bangladesh due to his excellent research and contribution to dairy in Bangladesh.
