Dr. Rahul Shukla is an assistant professor in the Department of Pharmaceutics, National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, Raebareli, India, and a visiting researcher at the University of Central Lancashire, UK. He obtained his Ph.D. from the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research, Central Drug Research Institute (CSIR-CDRI) and Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi, India. He also holds an MPharm and BPharm from the Indian Institute of Technology (BHU) Varanasi, India, and Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi, India, respectively. His experience includes being a research scientist at Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, Hyderabad, India, and a D.S. Kothari postdoctoral fellow at Panjab University, Chandigarh, India. Dr. Shukla has more than 10 years of research and academic experience. He has more than 100 publications in peer-reviewed journals and books to his credit and he has edited several books. He holds seven patents and one copyright. His research interests include targeted drug delivery systems for neurodegenerative diseases, particle engineering, and solubilization and bioavailability enhancements.
