Ivona Djurkin Kusec
Ivona Djurkin Kušec is an Associate Professor at Faculty of Agrobiotechnical Sciences of Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek, Croatia. She graduated in 2005 and obtained her PhD in 2011, both in the field of Animal Science. Her main research interests include meat quality of domestic livestock, breed and product authentication and improvement of meat quality using the molecular methods. She co-authored over 70 professional and scientific papers and was a team member of a number of national and European projects. She was a supervisor and co-supervisor of more than 10 PhD and MSc theses and is a director of postgraduate specialist study 'Quality and Safety of Animal Products' at Faculty of Agrobiotechnical Sciences Osijek.
