Ali Syed
Ali Usama Syed (S’19) received the B.E. and M.S. in mechatronics engineering from the Air University, Islamabad, Pakistan. He is currently pursuing his doctorate in robotics & intelligent machines at the University of Trento, Italy. Mr. Syed has made significant contributions to the field of mechatronics and biomedical engineering through his research and teaching activities. With six journal articles, four conference papers, and a book chapter published in Q1 journals and book, Mr. Syed\'s research areas are diverse and cover topics such as robotics, intelligent control, optimized machine learning, neurosciences, human-machine interface, surgical robotics, artificial intelligence, and motion planning. He serves as a peer-reviewer for more than nine Q1/Q2 journals in these research areas. Mr. Syed is a member of the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society, IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society, IEEE Computational Intelligence Society, the IEEE Brain Community, IEEE Sensors Council, and IEEE Systems Council. His association with these societies highlights his commitment to advancing the field of mechatronics and robotics through collaboration and shared learning.
