Mr. Nasir Shad obtained his Master's degree in Silviculture from Jiangxi Agricultural University, China; and his Master's degree in Botany from Hazara University, Mansehra, Pakistan. He is currently working as a Research scholar (Unofficially) at the Department of Botany, Hazara University Mansehra, Pakistan. Mr. Nasir Shad studies plant ecology, plant invasion, soil N cycling, N2O emission, and ethnobotany. He has published more than 15 papers related to plant ecophysiology, or ethnobotany, including one book chapter. He is also serving as an associate editor of one international journal, and as a reviewer for 4 well-reputed international journals.
