Stefano Federici

Stefano Federici, PhD, psychologist, is currently Professor of General Psychology and Psychology of Human Functioning and Disability at the University of Perugia. His research interests are aimed at assistive technologies and disability, in which he has contributed by developing a model of assistive technology assessment process. In the field of disability, he contributed to the Italian and Persian validation of the World Health Organization Disability Assessment Schedule (WHODAS 2.0) and to the research on the sexuality health care of person with disability. In the field of human-computer interaction, he contributed to the research on the psychometric characteristics of the Italian version of the System Usability Scale (SUS) and of the Usability Metric for User Experience (UMUX). Finally, he developed a verbal protocol technique for the observation of the interaction experience with web interfaces of blind users or those with intellectual disabilities called Partial Concurrent Thinking Aloud.
