Dr. Rakeshkumar Mahto is an Assistant Professor with the Computer Engineering Program, California State University, Fullerton, CA. Recently, he identified various kinds of RFID tags for transportation applications. Also, he developed required metrics for an RFID system to be deployed in a transportation project. In 2018, as a Co-PI his proposal on developing, “Low-Cost Portable Smart Bio-Mimicking Solar Shrub,” was selected by the California Clean Energy Fund under the California Sustainable Energy Entrepreneur Development (CalSEED) program. Since joining CSUF, he trained several undergraduate and graduate students on securing RFID tags and communication. During his Ph.D. studies, he mentored many undergraduate and graduate students in building various RF circuitry such as RF low noise amplifier, antenna, mixers, and oscillators.
